The five LANDMVRKS members leave little doubt about the soundtrack of their youth. Linkin Park, Linkin Park and more Linkin Park. That childhood is set in the French port city of Marseille. It's obvious from the bright colours of their artwork. ‘They are inspired by the south of France,’ says guitarist Paul Cordebard in music magazine Rock&Folk. He adds that the subjects of their songs are dark enough as it is. LANDMVRKS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album 'Hollow' this year and is today considered one of the leading names in European metalcore. Their latest album, 'The Darkest Place I've Ever Been', is considered their most personal and ambitious project to date, with more depth but retaining their recognisable intensity.
